A top GP with 8 years experience has been struck off in disgrace after three patients were literally laughed out of his surgery.
Mike Duckbill was given Dr Abdul Whozaprik's new laughing treatment after visiting the practice in Hull for the Flu. Fair enough we thought, timewaster.
However when Gerald Daisey, 56 and Beryl Shanks, 74, were told that they had inoperable vein-closure in their legs; they were asked whether they were willing to try an experimental new treatment that Dr Whozaprik was testing.
"He told us to remove our clothes behind a screen and just began pointing and laughing at us hysterically for thirty minutes." a hysterically angry, not hysterically laughing Beryl told us.
"We were booked in for fortnightly half-hour sessions which would apparently make us better. I've been mislead and my leg still hurts." Scoffed Gerald.
Lawyers attempted to use the Doctor's race as an excuse for misunderstanding the quote he read on his 2003 'sayings' rip-off calendar. The appeal was unsuccessful.
Since this report was made, Dr Whozaprik has been diagnosed with a nervous breakdown. Our top team of reporters are going to stand pointing and laughing at him until he gets better.
